Jake Wilson

TRAINEE QUANTITY SURVEYOR

Jake is a Trainee Quantity Surveyor at DAY CM and will start studying part time at the University of Central Lancashire in September.  Jake will complete his studies and aim to become a Chartered Quantity Surveyor in 2030.

As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Jake will gain experience through shadowing and working with the whole DAY CM team on a variety of refurbishment and new build schemes within the healthcare sector.

During his time at DAY CM, Jake has already gained a basic understanding in:

• Preparation of contract documents
• Key construction terms
• Interim valuations and cost reports
• Cash flow forecasting
• Use of NSR schedules of rates

‘In my spare time I enjoy playing rugby and supporting Leeds United’.
