Relocation of the SMIT Unit, Withington Community Hospital
This project entailed relocation of the existing SMIT unit from Trafford General Hospital, to Withington Community Hospital. To facilitate this move, the unit required construction of foundations, link corridors, incoming services, below ground drainage, feature external fencing and external works alterations. We also had to firstly relocate the existing mobile breast unit to another area of the Withington Community Hospital site. DAY CM were appointed by Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust to carry out pre & post contract cost management services from inception through to project completion.
