Car park alterations and re-surfacing works, including new retaining walls and permeable pavings
Creation of additional car parking spaces, and providing new macadam surfacing to existing carparks complete with new thermoplastic line-markings. DAY CM were appointed to provide quantity surveying and cost planning services from concept design through to project completion. Produced Schedules of Works for tender purposes to assist with competitive tendering, and to provide a robust platform for receipt of comparable tenders. To minimise cost and to make use of the existing hardcore surfacing, a permeable tarmac solution was adopted on Summerfield House, to negate the need for below ground surface water drainage pipework. We also helped coordinate the tender process through the appointed framework provider – the RISE Framework.
