A stunning focal point for the whole of the Bacup area
Project Details; The Bacup War Memorial Development in response to the Public Realm Strategy focuses on creating more community use. Surface material improvements in the highway footpath areas in front of the war memorial, and a proposed orchard/ flowering trees for seasonal interest. As part of the concept there are three unique curved feature seats surrounded by the war memorial. The artwork is set into 2 granite columns and 1 granite wall against which seating is located. Our Services; DAY CM were appointed by Rossendale Borough Council to provide pre and post contract quantity surveying services from concept design through to project completion. The scheme was competitively tendered on a design and build basis, using the JCT Design and Build 2016 Form of Contract.
